World’s First ATM That Dispenses Cupcakes (VIDEO)

Sprinkles Cupcakes in Beverly Hills, California, has recently introduced the world's first 24-hour cupcake ATM.

The Sprinkles Cupcake ATM provides a selection of 600 boxed cupcakes which is continuously stocked fresh while the store is open.

Customers use a touch screen to select from a menu of cupcakes, cake mixes, apparel and cupcakes for dogs. While the credit card is processing, a video shows the robotic arm placing the selected cupcake on the platform. The cupcake is then dispensed at the turn of the cylinder door at the bottom of the machine.

Cupcakes are $3.50 each with an additional ATM fee of $.50 to cover packaging, the convenience and the experience.

Sprinkles will be expanding the ATM technology to their locations in New York, Washington D.C. and Chicago this summer and later to the remaining 5 locations across the US.
