Google Drive, the recently launched storage service from Google, drew heavy fire for its terms of service.

According to the terms of service any content that is uploaded undergoes a rights transition and gives worldwide license to Google to use, host, store, reproduce, create derivative works, or transform it in any way and distribute it. The bigger threat is that the license is forever.

Dropbox and Microsoft SkyDrive have better privacy policies and do not try to get any ownership of the user's uploads.

The policy might save Google from over-zealous lawyers but many businesses and creative workers might stay away from using the product.

I edited your summary to fix some typos and removed the "crafty" from "crafty lawyers". Good summary. Thanks for posting it.

I like reading the news, but I dislike reading terribly written stories full of bad puns.
