Windows XP, released over 10 years ago, is currently the most popular operating system in the world, according to a new report.

Windows XP is installed in 46.08% of all PCs, Windows 7 is on 38.67% of PCs and Windows Vista is on 7.32% of PCs.

Various versions of Mac OS X is on 2.71% of all computers.

Windows 7 has steadily increased its market share over the last 2 years but Windows XP is expected to maintain its dominance.
