New Orleans police say 5 teens, between the ages of 17 and 18, suffered non-life-threatening injuries from a shooting that occurred after a parade honoring Martin Luther King Jr. passed through their neighborhood.

About 30 minutes after the parade, the teens had gathered at an intersection. A white car drove up and an occupant shot at them from the sunroof and then drove off.

Video surveillance of the incident will soon be made available to the public.

Police say the shooting did not appear to be related to the parade.
